SAME Jacksonville's Mission Statement

  • To advance the knowledge of the science of military engineering,

  • To maintain the best engineering standards and traditions,

  • To preserve the memory of services rendered by the engineering profession throughout the wars involving the United States,

  • To foster and develop relationships of helpful interest between the engineering profession in civil life and that in the military service,

  • To promote engineering education via awarding scholarships, providing continuing education opportunities and mentoring programs, and

  • To sponsor readiness activities that support emergency response efforts.

Our History
The Jacksonville Post was one of the original Society of American Military (SAME) Posts that were chartered in 1920.  Click here to read more about our Post.
